The event is part of a drive by the amateur theatre company to encourage new members to join.
The Bawtry Theatre group stages three plays a year and also has a youth theatre arm which puts on two plays annually.
Members can take part in all aspects of theatre work from set building and design, working backstage during productions in the management of props, sound and lighting or acting on the stage.
Sunday's event will be an opportunity for those who might be interested in joining to drop in and find out more about the theatre, take a backstage tour and take part in a play reading if they wish.
It will be held at the theatre on Station Road in Bawtry between 7pm and 10pm. Play readings are likely to start around 7.30pm and 8.45pm.
