Help needed at Cannon Park

A working party is being arranged at Cannon Park for this evening (Monday) to help replace divots on the playing surface.

The recent wet weather has made it difficult to carry out work on the pitch and there are still some very wet areas that need to be dealt with.

There will be extensive work prior to tomorrow night's game against Southwell City, but the club are asking supporters for help at Cannon Park from 5.15pm tonight for an hour to prepare the surface for the Notts Senior Cup quarter-final clash tomorrow (7.45).

Anyone available is asked to come down to the ground – and are reminded not to forget their pitchforks.
