Biker dies after Clarborough crash

A 28-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash on Clarborough Hill.

The incident happened just after 4pm yesterday (Thursday June 25) on the A620.

The incident involved a red Honda motorcycle, which collided with a blue Ford Mondeo and a white Ford transit tipper van.

As a result of the collision the male motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries.

The 32-year-old female driver of the Ford Mondeo and a 19-year-old female passenger were both uninjured but shaken by the collision. The male driver of the Ford Transit was also uninjured.

Scores of emergency service vehicles attended the scene as did the Notts/Lincs Air Ambulance.

The road was closed at the bottom of Clarborough Hill for a number of hours.
