Horror as car is snatched with toddler inside

THE NIGHTMARE of seeing her car snatched with her young daughter still inside has been relived by an Ordsall mum.

Sarah McDonald-Lee, of Westhill Road, was delivering Next products to homes in Hallcroft when an opportunistic thief jumped into her car and sped off – with three-year-old Sophie still inside.

The offender made it to North Road before abandoning the vehicle opposite Retford Health Centre with Sophie unharmed.

"I had parked up on the curb and was delivering a parcel when I noticed someone had got into the car. It all happened so quickly," said Sarah.
