Notts Police confirmed on Monday that the men aged 28 and 20 were being held with a woman aged 54.
They were taken into custody by officers from the 50-strong inquiry team formed following the stabbing of part-time gamekeeper Mr Bacon.
Also known as Neil, he died at 8.30pm last Wednesday night, November 26, following the attack on the driveway of his home.
Mr Bacon (50), who was a father-of-two and grandfather, died from stab wounds to his upper body after the incident at just before 7pm that night.
His death sparked a major inquiry centred on Keeper's Cottage at Normanton Larches, near Clumber Park.
The secluded location is just down a lane near Bothamsall village off the A614, between Retford and Worksop, close to the Clumber Park Hotel and Spa.
A media appeal yesterday, a week after the murder, generated a positive response from the public – with a number of calls being made to the incident room.
Detectives would still like to hear from anyone who was in this area last Wednesday evening or who has any other information.
Call the incident room on 01623 483020 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.
